Medigap Plan N
Understand its coverage, including certain copayments and other cost-sharing.
Plan N covers most of the same benefits as Plan G, but it doesn't cover the Part B deductible or Part B excess charges, and it includes copayments for some office and emergency room visits.
Helps pay for
- Part A coinsurance and hospital costs
- Part A deductible
- Part B coinsurance, except listed copayments
- Skilled nursing facility coinsurance
- Blood (first 3 pints) and hospice coinsurance
- Foreign travel emergency care, 80% up to plan limits
You pay
- The Medicare Part B deductible
- Up to $20 for some office visits
- Up to $50 for emergency room visits that don't result in an inpatient admission
- Part B excess charges
- Your monthly plan premium
